Due to a USDA recall on brown rice, we cannot do tomorrow's menu of potstickers and chicken fried rice. Instead we will be serving chicken bacon ranch flatbread for both HS/MS. Thank you for understanding!

The Annual After Prom Cake Raffle Fundraiser will be held next Friday, February 14th (yes - Valentine's Day!)! On your way to cheer our basketball team to victory against Iowa Falls-Alden, come visit Junior Class families in the Algona High School Commons starting at 5pm to preview the cakes, buy your tickets and drop them by your cake(s) of choice for a chance to win! Menu update for MS/HS-
Tomorrow, Feb. 4, will be Orange Chicken and not Crispitos as advertised due to a supply issue. Crispitos will be moved to Wednesday, Feb. 19.


The Science Fair is today! Public viewing starts at 4:00pm and the awards presentation is at 5:30pm, both in the PAC.

The Algona CSD will be closed today (January 21st) due to the Extreme Cold Warning. An announcement on activities will come later today.

The junior and senior class had the opportunity today to hear from recent 2024 graduates. Mrs. Stein led a discussion that included topics like housing & roommates, study habits, money concerns and homesickness. It was a great discussion!
