On Monday, Oct. 23, the third graders from Lucia Wallace went to Wildhaven as a culminating activity for their Animal Classification unit in CKLA. Mr. Young's high school students mentored our third graders as they went on a scavenger hunt to find evidence of the 5 different classes in the animal kingdom that can be found in the Algona area: mammals, birds, amphibians, reptiles, and fish.

Julie Fosado, a naturalist from Kossuth County, worked with 3rd grade students as they finished the animal classification unit of CKLA. Students used what they learned about classifying animals to sort different species based on their characters. # RISE #GoBulldogs
