Has anyone in our neighborhood seen a big flower like this? The wind must have taken our poor flower on an adventure, it is missing! Mrs. Elbert does such a fabulous job of keeping our outside entrance area so pretty, so we thought we'd check to see if anybody has seen it!
Yesterday was SO MUCH FUN!!
Preschool/Prep started the day heading to see their 4th grade buddies at Lucia Wallace and got to see their classrooms and make some crafts! The Kindergarten students hosted a Royal Ball to coincide with their Kings & Queens reading unit. They danced, had fancy cakes, and walked in a royal parade for all the preschoolers and prep students to see. And of course we all celebrated Valentines Day!

Reminder- there is school with a 1:30 dismissal on Wednesday, Feb. 22nd. This is a change from the original calendar due to the winter weather.
Conferences are coming up on Feb. 27-28. There will be a 2:30 dismissal both days and conferences will take place from 4:00-7:30 (AHS on Monday only). Also, there is no school on March 3. Sign up for K-4 conferences can be found at https://www.myconferencetime.com/algona/

The Kindergarteners ended their bowling unit during PE with some COSMIC BOWLING!! They had a blast! Even the preschoolers came down to try their hand at it before the day was done!
