A local archery club for AHS and area students is the Royal Arrow Archer’s Club. They work closely with schools, though they are not affiliated with them directly.
They had their first shoot of the 2025 season on February twenty-second in Medford, Minnesota. The archers did very well, shooting at many targets, small and large. Some were even able to hit a target as small as a ping pong ball. Others went after high risk steel targets. With these, if the target is missed, there is a chance for the arrow to be damaged. The ladies’ first, second, and third positions went to Alaina Bormann, Emily Oldenkamp, and Kinsey Throne. Men’s first, second, and third went to Mason Green, Corbin Darling, and Weston Ehlers.
