With Valentine’s Day going by, local shops had some great gifts! Bloom Floral and Feedmill Coffee worked together on a Valentine gift. For a good price you got flowers from Bloom and a drink from Feedmill or a drink from Rize Nutrition. This basket made a great gift for Valentine's Day! Scooters Coffee handed out stickers the morning of Friday, February 14. They also had red velvet cake bites and a strawberry mocha drink.
At Algona High School, FCCLA students did a “Crush for your crush” fundraiser. This gift only costs two dollars. If students wanted to do it, then all they had to do was give the money to an FCCLA member and write a fun little note to their “crush.” The Algona Bark House had a delicious Valentine’s Day drink. The new drink they had was pink love lemonade. The Bark House was also offering chocolate covered strawberries.
AHS student Jada Roberts said, “I really enjoyed FaceTiming my friend and being with my family on Valentine’s Day.” These gifts that local shops in Algona had were great for your Valentine or someone you love.
