On this special Valentine's Day, the AHS chapter of National Honor Society is putting on the annual AHS blood drive from 9 AM to 2 PM in the Performing Arts Center lobby. NHS has been sponsoring an annual blood drive since 2004.
Students, staff, and the community are encouraged to participate on this special day. Just one donation can save up to three lives! Appointments are needed and you can sign up in the high school office or find a National Honor Society member to help you sign up. You can even sign up online. Taylor VanOtterloo commented, “Donate blood, it’s good for you.”
If you are a student who is interested but under eighteen, you will need a parent's signature to donate. Forms are in the office. Any high schooler who has donated blood three times throughout high school will earn a red cord to wear at graduation!
Donate now to help save lives.
