The class of 2026 is in charge of Prom this year. There are many committees to make Prom a success. Jenni Adams is in charge of the high school portion of Prom, including the Grand March, social hour, and dance. Everything else is planned by junior parents. Parents are planning a great night for AHS juniors and seniors.
The juniors went through many options for a theme, and they came up with Garden of Glam. Some decoration ideas are fairy lights and garden hangings. Boys and girls, get ready for a great night at Algona High School!
This year there will be many fun activities at Prom. To start off Prom night there will be pictures and the Grand March. The Grand March will take place in the Algona High School gym on Saturday, April 26. If you can’t make it to the school for Grand March, you can watch it on YouTube. After the Grand March, the dance will start. Once the dance is over, the After Prom activities will start. This year for After Prom the juniors and seniors get to do inflatables, casino games, and there will even be a hypnotist coming.
This will be a great night for the juniors and seniors of AHS!
