What: "Understanding Financial Aid" Parent/Student Meeting
A representative from ICAN (Iowa College Access Network) will present information about the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) and AHS counselors will be sharing important information about our school's process for applying for scholarships, including those from the Algona Community School Foundation

The Algona Boys’ wrestling team qualified eleven wrestlers for the state wrestling tournament in Des Moines later this week. If five of those wrestlers are still competing on Friday, school will be dismissed at 1:00 pm. A message will go out Thursday night about whether we will get out at 1p m. on Friday or if we will have a regular school day.
Congratulations to the Algona Boys Wrestling team, who will send 11 wrestlers on to state and are district champs!!

Our Elementary schools always dismiss 15 minutes prior to the announced early dismissal time. Dismissal is 1:15 today for Middle School and High School. 1:00 for Elementary buildings.
