The third term of this academic year is coming to a close. It was pushed back two days and is officially over on the twenty-fifth of March due to the weather. Fourth term begins the twenty-sixth, and, assuming there are no more missed hours, ends the twenty-first of May for underclassmen and the fourteenth of May for seniors.
For the first three days of the new term, the counselors will be available to change student schedules. After that, schedules are locked in. Fourth term will feature a lot of fun events, including Superstars, the spring play, Prom, and the Algonies. The always iconic Joseph Struecker pontificated, “The end of the quarter is fast approaching at Algona High School. While this is certainly a sad time for some, it is a period of rebirth for others. Some see time ticking by and a frightening new world fast approaching as they become one step closer to the end of school and the beginning of adulthood. Others see the opportunity to begin anew; to create a new truer version of themselves.”
