The Journalism l class is coming to an end for the students who are enrolled. Throughout the one term class, many graphics and articles were crafted, but most importantly, the senior book and 2024-25 school yearbook have been started. The students worked hard every class period to complete the yearbook and senior book, for AHS students to recollect all the memories made throughout the past school year. A student in the class, Maci Mallory, states, “Making the yearbook is a great way to connect with people you do not know as well.”
The first project was the senior book; it features every senior graduating this year. Each senior was asked to answer a few questions such as, "What is your favorite high school memory.” In addition, many collages were created to reflect on the senior year as well as some throwback memories. Senior books can be purchased for $20 in Mrs. Spear’s classroom or through Infinite Campus under optional payments. The deadline to purchase is April 17th. Get your books ordered!
On the other hand, the yearbook is an overview of the whole school year and all grades. This year's theme was Disney, chosen by the students involved in the class; it is uniquely presented on every page. In the yearbook, people can also enjoy looking at pages full of a variety of sport, academic, and additional fun that happened throughout the year. The yearbook can also be purchased for $60 in Mrs. Spear’s classroom or on Infinite Campus under optional payments. It is a great way to reflect on the previous school year and bring back memories made. Get your yearbooks purchased by May 1st!
