The AHS Cross Country team has been working hard every day in practice and the entire offseason to get better and to perform better in the season.

The Bulldogs traveled to Storm Lake on Tuesday, September 17th. The girls finished 6th while the boys finished 10th. Coach Waltz said, “I am proud of their efforts. Go Bulldogs!”

The Bulldogs traveled to Humboldt on Monday, September 23rd. Both the girls and boys placed 7th. Some of the top performers for the girls were Carley Mullins, who placed 7th, Moriah Knapp placed 12th, and Brooklyn Helmers placed 19th. A few of the top performers for the boys were Ryan Stundahl, who placed 5th, and Brandon Steil, who finished 20th.

The Bulldogs’ next meet is at home on Monday, September 30th. The girls start at 4:40 and boys start at 5:30. Show up at the River Road Golf Course to cheer on the Bulldogs in their only home meet of the year. Go Dogs!
