At the Regional cross country meet on October 21st at Spencer,  Moriah Knapp qualified for the State meet by placing 12th.

Last week, on October 30th, at Fort Dodge, she placed 51st out of 131 of the state’s best runners.  She gave it her all and represented AHS “with class,” as cross country coach Mr. Waltz puts it.  Her time was 20:32.70 in class 3A girls.

The top performers in 3A were Shewaye Johnson at 17:55.30 from Ballard High School,  Paityn Noe at 18:01.10 from Ballard High School, Ainsley Erzen at 18:47.70 from Carlisle High School, Kiki Connell at 18:54.10 from Charles City High School, and Emma Hoins at 19:01.20 from Waverly-Shell Rock High School.

Everybody did a fantastic job representing their school and deserve a congrats.  Good luck next year Moriah.
